DARK CHOCOLATE SPICED TRUFFLES
Dark chocolate spiced truffles perfectly paired with our [yellow tail] Merlot is the perfect combination, for any occasion.
INGREDIENTS

500ml coconut cream

200g 85% dark chocolate

1 tsp vanilla paste

1 tsp cinnamon
-
½ tsp ginger

¼ tsp nutmeg

100g cocoa powder (for dusting)

METHOD

On a low heat, melt the coconut cream.

While the coconut cream melts, chop the chocolate as finely as possible.

Add the chopped chocolate into the melted coconut cream and stir until smooth.

Add in vanilla , cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg and stir until combined.

Pour into a glass bowl or heat-safe container. Place in the fridge overnight.

Using a melon scoop or a teaspoon, scoop small balls and roll in your hand quickly (otherwise the chocolate cream will become too soft) to make the balls as round as possible.

Add your cocoa powder into a bowl and roll each ball in the cocoa powder until completely covered.

Pop back in the fridge for at least 15 minutes and then enjoy!
