Chimichurri Steak
Sometimes steak and red wine is all you need. Serve up a juicy grilled steak with a South America’s version of pesto – Chimichurri sauce. A mixture of parsley, garlic and vinegar, this flavourful but fresh condiment is guaranteed to hit the spot.
INGREDIENTS

4 tablespoons of olive oil

2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

Generous handful of chopped parsley approx 20g

2 cloves garlic, minced or finely chopped

1 small red chili deseeded and finely chopped

1 teaspoon of salt

Add pepper, to taste

METHOD
1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
2. Allow to sit for 5-10 minutes to release all of the flavours into the oil before using.
3. Season your steak with salt and pepper and olive oil, then grill in the pan to your preferred way.
4. Once cooked using a spoon, layer the chimichurri over the steak.
